Book Donation Ceremony at Talipapa Elementary School

On July 26, 2024, at 10:00 am, Talipapa Elementary School hosted a significant event where the Manuel V. Gallego Foundation Colleges (MVGFC), represented by CEOP Officer Maria Victoria R. Victa, donated a substantial collection of educational materials to the school.

The donation, gratefully accepted by Harold Dave P. Antonio, Principal of Talipapa Elementary School, comprised 200 elementary textbooks from the MVGFC High School Department and 115 secondary textbooks from the MVGFC Library.

These resources encompass a wide array of subjects, including Values Education, Araling Panlipunan, Basic English, Batayang Filipino, Information Technology, Livelihood Education, Computer Fundamentals, Global Communication, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Music, Health, Physical Education, and Literature.

This generous contribution was facilitated by the MVGFC CEOP Office, with active participation from the faculty of the MVGFC High School Department, the Institute of Teacher Education, Talipapa Elementary School, and MVGFC Library staff.

The initiative is part of a broader Memorandum of Agreement between MVGFC and DepEd-SDO Cabanatuan City, focusing on the sharing of knowledge and technology to significantly enhance educational resources and support the academic growth of students.

Looking ahead, Mr. Rene Boy Abiva, CEOP Director, announced, "The next recipient of our book donation will be Imelda Integrated School because we believe that books are an effective partner of the community in combating ignorance and poverty." ###
